FAQs
Question: Why is Sandra Gillam’s presentation the only one available for web-streaming?
Answer: Sandra Gillam will be presenting in the main hall and this is where our equipment will be set up. Being our trail year, we do not have the equipment, bandwidth or man power to web-stream two sessions simultaneously.
Question: Why is the cost the same when lunch is not included.
Answer: We encourage all members to attend in person and join us for lunch. This is an opportunity to connect and network with others in the field of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education; however, if you choose the web-streaming option you will be saving cost on travel which is far greater than the cost of lunch.
Question: Why make this option available?
Answer: We want to encourage all members of CAEDHH an opportunity to participate in our conference. Many teachers have shared that traveling to the lower mainland can be a barrier to attending. Offering a web-streaming option allows for more members to benefit from the information shared by presenters at the CAEDHH-BC conference. This also encourages attendance in person for following years.
If you would rather register to attend in person, use our regular conference registration links available here.
